Canine Country Quarters occupies a 50 acre former dairy farm in rolling hills of Wayne County PA approximately 2.75 hours from New York City. Now a virtual doggy compound, the farm offers a host of activities for dogs including roaming free in the huge 3 acre grass-covered run, swimming in the pond, hiking the property, playing in the trout stream, or drinking from the natural springs.
Our primary objective at Canine Country Quarters is to provide your dog with an optimal balance of three things: Socialization, Exercise, and Relaxation.
Canine Country Quarters is an ideal destination for your dog when vacationing or away on business and when quality of care and amenities available to your dog are of utmost concern. Our priority is to "let your dog be a dog" in a safe and constantly supervised environment. We provide the structure and nature provides the setting where a dog’s separation from the owner will likely be a positive experience for both you and your dog.
Our Operation, Management and Staff
Canine Country Quarters is licensed as a boarding kennel by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Agriculture in Wayne County, Pennsylvania (LIC #: 9895). Likewise, our facility and operation are subject to random biannual observations/inspections by the local Dog Law Enforcement Officer. Canine Country Quarters is fully insured.
The owner of Canine Country Quarters lives on the premises and oversees most day-to-day operations. Emloyees of Canine Country Quarters are thouroghly screened for their ability to provide unconditional loving care for our guests while maintaining stability and order.
Ongoing socialization is important to the overall well-being of your dog because it will provide him/her with the opportunity to further develop skills to cope with new experiences in a positive way, therefore reducing your dog’s stress especially when separated from the owner.
Despite the weather, plenty of exercise is always on the agenda at Canine Country Quarters. Ideally, your dog will be experiencing the freedom to run in our 3 acre dog pasture, hiking the property or swimming in the pond and stream.
Rest and relaxation are also important for your dog’s wellbeing and at Canine Country Quarters, this is always an option. Aside from their comfortable bed in the house, your dog may choose to sunbathe in the grass or lie in the shade of the trees or covered porch.
